PTPA (Parent Tested Parent Approved) Media Awards has named the BubbleBum inflatable portable car booster seat a winner. Award winning because it is an affordable, light-weight car booster seat that travels easier than a child does.

Orlando, FL, US, October 28, 2011 -- BubbleBum is proud to announce that PTPA (Parent Tested Parent Approved) Media Awards has named BubbleBum a winner. PTPA Media’s mission is to discover and appraise new products designed for children and families. Hundreds of manufacturers submitted their products and services for evaluation based on value, functionality, quality and appeal by over 40,000 volunteer parent testers. BubbleBum is excited to be part of the exclusive group of products selected as PTPA winner.

The BubbleBum comes in a convenient carrying bag, and has shoulder belt positioning clips in place of arm rests. It easily fits in small spaces, making it more comfortable for three kids to sit in the back seat. A foldable and portable booster seat it deflates after use allowing it to be stored in a backpack, flight bag, trunk or even a large purse. It weighs approximately 1lb, and because it is inflatable and soft-sided it is much more comfortable than a regular booster seat.

BubbleBum was founded by Safekids USA Certified CPST Grainne Kelly from Northern Ireland who, like many other parents, was appalled by the lack of car booster seats available from car rental desks even when booked in advance. Kelly believes that every child deserves to be protected and safe while parents should be able to do just that with convenience and ease.

The first inflatable booster seat was also recently named a ‘Best Bet” by IIHS as well as winner of the 2011 JPMA Innovation Award.
