New Website Offers Daily Joy to a Stress-Filled World
DOWNS, Ill. (April 30, 2007) – As the Internet evolves into a medium that provides more than just basic information and commerce, one pair of visionaries has identified and communicated with a huge, often times unfulfilled audience -- people who need a short break from their stress-filled days. Playing Puppies (www.playing-puppies.com) fills that need by creating and posting daily videos of puppies playing, set to the music of independent artists.“The purpose of Playing-Puppies.com is to bring a little joy into everyone's day,” said Lisa Brady, the site’s co-founder and Chief Joy Officer (CJO). “Sometimes it seems the world is filled with fear, negativity, violence, and despair, and our hope is that the simple joy of puppies playing will bring a smile to the faces of all the people that visit. If by watching our videos, one person each day laughs out loud when they need it the most, then Playing-Puppies.com has served its purpose.”
The site offers free daily videos, an archive with a few “best of” videos, as well as a ‘sometimes’ daily dog blog with some of the lessons the founders have learned as they film. An additional section that will contain exclusive Playing Puppies products is in the works.
