Press release from: IMA

CHICAGO – Oct. 18, 2011 – The Global Incentive Council today announced the publication of its first-ever white paper, which takes a comprehensive look at employee recognition and reward practices, risks, and opportunities awaiting companies doing business in the People’s Republic of China.

This new report, “Reward, recognition programs bring opportunities, challenges to companies operating in China,” examines the dynamic economic market and cultural changes taking place in China, and how it affects reward and recognition practices. In addition, it offers multinational companies advice on how to design and implement a successful program, and how to avoid potential problems while navigating the complex Chinese business and cultural scene.

Global Incentive Council President Ashley Fina, who is also president of Michael C. Fina, noted, “Reward and recognition systems play a critical role in any degree of business success in China. Understanding the cultural nuances and reward expectations are key in developing and implementing successful recognition programs.”
