Sleep City Announces Success of Sleep 4 All Mattress Donation Program
Sleep City has donated over 100 mattresses to non-profits and individuals in need though Sleep 4 All programSpokane, WA, October 18, 2011 -- Sleep City has received tremendous support from the communities in Montana, Idaho and Washington for their Sleep 4 All mattress donation program. So far, they have donated over 100 mattresses, 32 of which came over a recent 24-hour period in Spokane. The Sleep 4 All program began in August, and will continue throughout the year. Jennifer Heggen, owner and creator of Sleep 4 All, explains the purpose of this program:
“The unfortunate truth is that many people simply don’t have the option of sleeping on a mattress. We want to ensure that we do all we can to provide a good night’s sleep to those that are denied this comfort.”
Sleep City anticipates participation on both ends of the program to increase as the holiday season progresses. So far, every qualified applicant has been fitted with a mattress. Molly Shirley received 10 beds for her charity We’ve Got Stuff in Coeur d’Alene, saying:
“We can’t be more excited about this program and I hope [Sleep City] can share with all who are involved what a huge impact this will mean for our community.”
These mattresses are being provided through a variety of different avenues. Donations can be dropped off at any Sleep City location. If you are interested in participating in the program, contact Aaron Sanchez (509) 543-7747 or the visit the website at: http://www.sleepcity.com/sleep4all
