Accelcia Announces the Launch of its “Virtual Controller” Practice
Strong response from clients accelerates expansionAccelcia Business Services announced the launch of a “Virtual Controller” Practice with several controllers deployed at its clients. “We are an early stage company where substantially all of our resources are focused on product development and expanding our customer footprint," said Ed Baker, CEO of Friend.ly, one of Accelcia's launch customers. "Yet our business needs are complex, so we need top-notch talent and expertise across multiple finance disciplines. Accelcia has been an outstanding partner for over 3 years, providing flexible and strong support at great value.” Accelcia has been providing a “one-stop” for back-office services for 6 years and currently serves over 125 small and medium businesses with Finance, Accounting, HR and Benefits Services.
After focusing on transactional services for several years, Accelcia is launching the “Virtual Controller” services to provide clients with additional services like financial model development, financial planning & analysis (FPA), budget tracking, revenue recognition, FAS123 option expensing, tax and credit support. Clients will benefit from enhanced integration between Accelcia’s controllers and transaction support teams, and from the rigorous quality at reasonable costs – for which Accelcia is well known.
The practice will be run by Bina Baid, a CPA with 17 years of industry experience and specialization in Revenue Recognition, FAS123 and IFRS, among other areas. “Accelcia’s “One-Stop” services model and process focused delivery has consistently provided ongoing value and continuous improvement within our customer's finance and accounting functions. I look forward to leading and building this practice. We are staffing with high caliber and well rounded professionals, and the demand for this virtual service in the market has surpassed our expectations” said, Bina Baid.
Headquartered in the San Francisco Bay Area, Accelcia Business Services provides a “One-Stop” for all the required “non-core” back-office services like Accounting, HR, and Benefits to entrepreneurs and small and medium businesses owners so they can focus on building a great “core” business.
