Tokyo Bay Traders Appoints New Country Head for China

Tokyo Bay Traders, leader in investment management and investment servicing, has appointed Dennis Lau as Country Executive and Head of the company's Representative Office in China, based in Beijing, with oversight responsibilities for China and Hong Kong.

Tokyo, Japan, September 26, 2011 -- Tokyo Bay Traders, leader in investment management and investment servicing, has appointed Dennis Lau as Country Executive and Head of the company's Representative Office in China, based in Beijing, with oversight responsibilities for China and Hong Kong.

Lau will continue in his existing role within Tokyo Bay Traders Asian Asset management. In that capacity he is responsible for business development, product management and transition management service delivery to clients in China.

Ren Ito, Head of Global Client Management for Tokyo Bay Traders, said: "Dennis has been working closely on the ground in Hong Kong with fund managers, pension funds and regional central banks and is well known to all our key institutional investors. He is ideally placed to build upon those strong relationships to the benefit of all our lines of business that are active across the region."

Lau joined Tokyo Bay Traders in 2004 and has over 18 years experience in the financial services industry.

Lau replaces Dr. Mary Anderson, who has taken up a consultancy role focusing on banks in China and its territories.
