Tokyo Bay Traders Appoints Chief Risk Officer

Tokyo, Japan, October 10, 2011 -- Tokyo Bay Traders has appointed Kiyoshi Ando as Group Executive Chief Risk Officer.
Ren Ito, Head of Global Client Management for Tokyo Bay Traders said, "I am very pleased to have Kiyoshi join our senior leadership team in the new position of Group Executive, Risk Management. Kiyoshi is a high calibre executive with very strong financial and risk management experience in many areas of banking and financial services, both in Japan and internationally".

Kiyoshi will join the Bank’s leadership team, reporting direct to Mr Ito. He will provide leadership in ensuring effective risk management and risk governance across the company and will also act as an advisor to the company’s Board and Executive Management on risk management. Over his eighteen years of consulting, Kiyoshi has advised banks globally on risk, strategy and performance measurement. He will commence with the company during November 2011.

The new position of Group Executive, Risk Management has been established to ensure that the company continues to transform its risk practices to global best practice in such areas as credit, operational, technology, compliance and market risks.
