Fincons Group partners with Swiss Federal Railways
Bern, 10th February 2020 - FINCONS GROUP, an international IT consulting and system integration company with over 1,600 employees in Switzerland, Italy, Germany, Great Britain and the USA, has been awarded the "Railway Production Shoring Factory" contract, together with another technology provider. Software for the industry programme smartrail 4.0 is also being developed in the area of rail production. (www.smartrail40.ch)As part of its digitisation process, Swiss Federal Railways (Schweizerische Bundesbahnen - SBB) will carry out a number of projects for the development and implementation of applications in railway technology at the FINCONS GROUP's Delivery Center in Bari, which will become one of the strategic production locations for SBB's railway software. The contract envisages continuous and growing cooperation with the Delivery Center, which SBB will support with approximately 100 additional resources in the coming years.
Using the Smart-shore model, this service is provided exclusively by teams based in Bari, who work with onsite focus points in the SBB offices in Bern.
