Bindaas BITSian Atul Mishra Enthrals BITS Pilani Alumni Association BITSAA Chapter at Jaipur Sheher Caf�

Music has a profound impact on our mind and bodies as it is fun, relaxing, motivating and energizing It has always been said that music which is indeed the food of soul is also the language of feeling and of passion, as words are the language of reason.

The aim of the BITS Pilani Alumni Association, BITSAA Jaipur Chapter is to stay connected with all the BITSian Alumni from Jaipur & nearby cities which include Ajmer, Kota, Bhilwara Udaipur, Jodhpur and Bikaner.

The idea of establishing Birla Institute of Technology and Science Alumni Association BITSAA Jaipur Chapter was conceived in 1995 and was constituted on 04 May 1996. Currently the chapter has more than 200 registered members. With the likely challenge of hosting BITSAA Global Meet BGM in 2023, Jaipur chapter is gearing on all fronts to take up the same. The Jaipur Chapter is for all the alumni, faculty and students from Institution of Eminence in India Today Birla Institute of Technology and Science popularly known as BITS Pilani (Pilani, Goa, Hyderabad and Dubai campuses) who are staying in or have a connection with Jaipur Region. Regular gathering of BITS alumni at Jaipur takes place every year several times which include BITSian Day, Diwali Milan and Holi Milan.

Bindaas BITSians BB, a group created by passion packed Proud to be BITSian Atul Mishra (79-84) post BITSAA global Meet BGM at Dubai in January 2017, is dedicated to bring together BITSians through the medium of music, predominantly Hindi film music. BB organizes two types of events BBM and BBE. BBM is Bindaas Bitsians Meet which is typically a two day packed music session while BBE is Bindaas BITSians Evening for a few hours in the evening before / after dinner.

BBM held so far include Lonavala (June 2017), Delhi (Feb 2018) and Pune (June 2018), Goa (Feb 2019) and Bangalore (June 2019 and the next BBM sixth one is slated for July 2020 at Pune. BBM usually has 5 BB Mehfils. So far countless BBE have taken place in various cities in India and abroad and one day or other Guinness Record can not be ruled out.

Evening of 02nd Feb 2020 will go down as a milestone in the history of BITSAA Jaipur chapter. Over 50 alumni and spouses - got together for music, networking and snacks at the elegant Sheher Caf� located at Panchsheel Enclave, 74, Jawahar Lal Nehru Marg, Behind Clarks Amer, Jaipur, Rajasthan 302017. It is owned by Captain Archit Gupta a Captain flying commercial airlines and a matter of great pride that Proud to be BITSian Dr Rakesh Gupta came forward to host the event like many other previous events.

Sheher cafe Jaipur is no ordinary cafe. It had participated in Rasoi 2019 as part of Swad Rajasthan ka organized by Industries Department Government of Rajasthan and had won award also.

The high quality music by Atul Mishra for whom Music is a Mission with Passion left the audience asking for more. The key objective of the event was to bring BITSians at Jaipur together, and help make this the most vibrant chapter for the larger task of Alma mater brand building. Undoubtedly indomitable Atul Mishra is an engineer, technocrat, administrator, musician and a great human being all in one polymath like Scottish writer Mary Somerville The meet also helped BITS graduates of recent years connect with other senior alumni at Jaipur. In the words of Prof BR Natarajan (Dean Nattu) who came all the way from Banasthali which is the second best women's university in the world "this is the best ever and most unforgettable alumni meet ever organized at Jaipur".
