FETE GROUP OPENS DOORS TO INKTIP AND ‘INSIGHT’ PRE-RELEASE PARTY

The Secretive Entertainment Executive Networking Group Expands Membership with Movie Release

For the first time since its inception, The Fete Group (www.fetegroup.com) departed from the normal secrecy and partnered with InkTip (www.inktip.com) to host an event last Thursday (September 1, 2011) that was actually meant for public consumption—a star studded red carpet pre-release party for the feature film “InSight” starring Sean Patrick Flanery (The Boondock Saints) and Natalie Zea (Justified), directed by Richard Gabai.

The event took place Thursday evening at Hollywood’s Café Entourage, and was attended by several notables including Natalie Zea, Travis Schuldt (“Scrubs”), Thomas Ian Nicholas (“American Pie”), Deep Roy (“Charlie and the Chocolate Factory”), Max Perlich (“Blow”), Bai Ling (“The Crow”), Patrick Gallagher (“Glee”), and several major producers and executives including Cowboys & Alien’s producer Scott Mitchell Rosenberg.

More on The Fete Group: For two years, many of Hollywood’s producers and celebrity talent have been meeting once a month and closing deals at private cocktail socials and secret dinners hosted by The Fete Group (www.fetegroup.com). Originally consisting of just 93 members, The Fete Group has grown over the past 24 months to more than 1,300 members, including senior executives at ABC, Dune Entertainment, Fox Television, ICM, NBC, Nu Image, Paramount, Showtime, Universal, William Morris Endeavor and many others.

The mission of InkTip.com is threefold:
Help the producer easily find a good script
Save time for the agent and manager in locating the right people for their clients' scripts, or new clients
Greatly increase exposure for the screenwriter
InkTip was born in 2000 after witnessing the difficulties associates and friends in the industry have had in getting exposure for their works, let alone getting their scripts sold.

Our initial research indicated that over 150 production companies use the Internet to find scripts, with more than twenty-five percent of these companies boasting good to excellent film credits. Since that time, the figure has greatly increased and InkTip.com, by itself, has more than 2000 registered industry members who now have access to writers' scripts.

Before beginning the website design, InkTip.com had extensive surveys conducted with agents, managers and producers. We found out that the only way to make an Internet service like this work is to utilize the speed of computers to help producers find good scripts, help agents sell more scripts, and provide these industry professionals with the confidentiality and security they need.

We have thoroughly addressed each of these issues with our programming and site design and believe that InkTip.com makes finding a good script faster and easier than ever before.
