Women’s Adventure Race Honors September 11 Anniversary With Proceeds
WHAT: Calling all gutsy girls! This September, Terra Firma Racing will host a beginner-friendly, women only adventure race in Austin, TX.The Women’s Race consists of two-person teams running, splashing and laughing their way through an obstacle course while they race for approximately one-hour to the finish line. Women can also put their creative skills to use in the best costume contest and best watercraft contest! The Women’s Race will honor the 10th Anniversary of September 11 by donating all race proceeds to Tuesday’s Children, a non-profit committed to meeting the needs of every family and child who lost a loved one in the terrorist attacks on September 11, 2001. In addition to Tuesday’s Children, proceeds will also benefit the Cedar Park fire department and police department for equipment to improve community safety and to Veterans Memorial Park and services.
