Bright Cluster Manager provides detailed graphical metrics for all cluster elements

Moscow, Russia and San Jose, California — Bright Computing, a leader in cluster management software, announced that Open Technologies, a leading systems integrator in Russia, has become a partner for the Russian HPC market. Providing Bright Cluster Manager® as an integral element of their HPC solutions will enable Open Technologies to offer customers powerful CPU and GPU clusters with a complete, user-friendly operating environment for high performance computing.

"Our partnership agreement with Bright Computing is an important logical step to expand our HPC product portfolio, a key priority for our company,” said Gregory Shevchenko, Commercial Director of Open Technologies. "We are impressed by our experience with Bright, and moreover, by the enthusiastic endorsement of NVIDIA and NextIO, our other HPC business partners. Bright Cluster Manager is comprehensive, efficient, and incredibly easy to use, thanks to its intuitive GUI and powerful cluster management shell."

Open Technologies has developed four main configurations of compact CPU/GPU clusters based on NextIO and NVIDIA technologies, delivering peak performances spanning 4.97 to 19.4 TFlops. Bright Cluster Manager is pre-installed on these systems, enabling customers to unpack their cluster, turn it on, and immediately load HPC applications for use.

“Our customers benefit from fast time-to-compute, minimal learning time, operational efficiencies and maximum system throughput,” added Shevchenko.

Open Technologies is featuring Bright Cluster Manager in its HPC Competence Center in Moscow for demonstration and testing purposes.
