Altius Building Co. Hires Jonathan Ward as VP, Development Integration
Milwaukee, WIAltius Building Company, a Brookfield-based Construction Management services provider, announced that Jonathan Ward has been appointed in the new role as Vice President, Development of Integration. Mr. Ward most recently served as VP of Development for the real estate and development firm of J. Jeffers and Co. In his current role with Altius Building Co., Mr. Ward identifies development potential and feasibility, financial modeling and assisting clients with due diligence, entitlements and securing financing.
Scott Drees, Owner and President at Altius Building Company, said, “This new role will allow us to help our clients initiate new projects by providing development services that turn ideas into reality.”
Mr. Ward has over seventeen years of experience in commercial real estate. He has a Master’s degree in Public Policy and Management in Urban Development from Heinz College at Carnegie Mellon University, where he was also selected for the Stephen M. Lauble Community Fellowship Award. Mr. Ward has occupied a series of leadership positions, including City Planner for the City of West Allis, AVP Asset Manager for tax credit investments at PNC Bank, and Development Project Manager for Wangard Partners, Inc. Throughout his career, Mr. Ward has closed transactions on projects worth approximately $200 million, most with many financing sources, including tax credits and public support including local projects, Gold Medal Lofts, Freshwater Plaza, and MCFI’s Whole Health Clinic.
