One of worth visiting places in Turkish Riviera is Kaş, small ancient town which has enough power to amaze every tourist.

Kaş, formerly a small fishing village, is one of the most famous littoral resorts (three hours' drive southwest of Antalya) but still provincial atmosphere prevails here. Recently, on the surrounding hills modern buildings have been built but bigger constructions are excluded because of natural barriers – rocky, hardly accessible slopes. A visitor will not find beautiful sandy beaches here, it is a place for admirers of harsh and peaceful areas, which is the reason for lack of the mass tourism in this place.
Kaş is a good trip start point from where neighboring ancient ruins and monuments of Anatolia can be easily reached. Tourists can take boat trips, visit Üçağız and Kaleköy, the Blue Cave or just try out walking up the mountain to the cliff tombs. The town is a great place to spend leisure hours – for curious holidaymakers wait remains of historic city Antiphellos and a footpath along picturesque coast. Well-preserved ancient theatre, 500 meters from harbor, which could contain 4 000 people is the only Turkish theatre with the auditorium facing the sea.
Further on the hill is located Doric tomb where beautiful and interesting dancer bas-reliefs are carved. Close to centre attentive tourist will notice stone walls which hide the secret of unidentified Greek temple. One of the most striking and mysterious attractions of the city is the Lycian Tomb, so called Royal Or Lion Sarcophagus which is dated for IV age century B.C. On one side of this monument is located mysterious and still not decrypted inscription in Lycian language.
Visiting Kaş can be a great experience in all possible dimensions. The district is fraught with various oriental plants such as oranges, lemons and bananas. Kaş is also a famous town for it’s delicious produce of honey and almonds. This quiet town with tight streets surrounded by jasmine flowers and charming restaurants offering various options of local cuisine is also a culture city where festivals, jazz concerts and exhibitions often take place. The city offers also interesting spots for divers with underwater caves and several schools where holidaymakers can rent a diving equipment or apply for a course.
Holidaymakers who want to be always in the middle of action and Antalya region can organize their stay in Tuvana Hotel which is only 3 hours drive from Kas. Tuvana Hotel, which supports historic values of the region and offers tour desk information about local attractions, can be the best option to stay for adventure lovers. Located close to historic monuments, city spots, sandy beaches and offering luxurious accommodation with top quality staff, Tuvana includes all determinants to satisfy even the most demanding guests.

Surrounded by gardens, the elegant Tuvana Hotel is situated in Antalya’s historical centre only 450 metres from Hadrian's Gate. It features an outdoor pool and spacious guestrooms with traditional Ottoman décor.
