GRAPA Global Revenue Assurance Professional Association

Louis Khor completes 2-year Faculty Certification to teach GRAPA's Revenue Assurance Foundations and Telecoms Risk Officer Curriculum

With constant demand from GRAPA''s membership for certification training that is customized to specific organizations, GRAPA is proud to announce an improved faculty capacity. The certification of Louis Khor as a Senior Lecturer enables him to teach GRAPA''s expanded Telecoms Risk Officer and Revenue Assurance Foundations curricula.

The growing demand of organizations looking to certify and train their teams has posed a problem for GRAPA, which until recently only had one fully Certified faculty member. "With Louis fully certified, many more organizations will be able to get certified according to internationally ratified standards," states GRAPA President Rob Mattison.

Since Revenue Assurance departments are rapidly becoming Telecoms Risk Offices with expanded Margin/Market Assurance, New Product Development, and logical and physical security responsibilities, additional certified faculty will help GRAPA meet the growing scope needs of our members as well.

Louis is extremely excited about his expanded role as a fully certified faculty member. While Louis has already taught at many venue events, he excited to have the opportunity to teach in an on-site setting. "It is my belief that risk management and revenue assurance needs to be a company-wide effort, and that for the best results all departments must play a role. At other on-site trainings, I have seen how empowered employees have become and how the experience can affect the entire DNA of the organization. I am extremely excited to have a faculty role for these events, and I look forward helping other telcos build consensus and focus on profit."

Meet Louis Khor:

Currently the head of GRAPA''s Fraud Program and instructor of our Telco Vice curriculum, Louis has been teaching versions of the Revenue Assurance Foundations class since 2009 as part of the Faculty Certification process. Throughout that time, Louis has been instrumental in shaping the curriculum, allowing it to move from a more traditionally focused Revenue Assurance training, to the broader Telecoms Risk Officer approach.

With over 100 Fraud professionals certified in 2010, GRAPA will continue to improve and expand our fraud program for 2011. We learned a lot during our pilot program, so the 2011 materials will be more focused and better organized, They will set the stage for the posting of our first round of Fraud Management Standards for member comment. This Fraud Program, managed by Louis Khor, promises to provide RA and Fraud Management Professionals with significant upgrades to their current effectiveness in these critical areas.
