Norkring renews RDS network with RDS Encoders C02 from 2wcom Systems
The replacement of the previous Teli Encoders became necessary to adapt the Norwegian RDS network to the latest technical requirements as well as improve and optimize the quality control within the RDS Encoder network. Therefore it was necessary to select an RDS Encoder, which can be easily managed with a network management software. The fully dynamic RDS Encoder C02 from 2wcom Systems meets all requirements at the best.
The 2wcom RDS Encoder has an excellent and easy to operate software and provides a flexible multi-port solution that allows using with one single Encoder five different services over five independent IP ports (TCP or UDP) with different port numbers.
Other features such as automatic switch over from summer to winter time and the ability to configure optical coupler to forward text-specific SNMP traps, have convinced Norkring. “We do stay behind our customers and with our know-how, support and our service-orientated approach we do guarantee a smooth transition from the former Teli-system to the system of the future from 2wcom Systems.
