MEDIA ADVISORY 7/31 Save-A-Pet Kicks Off 6th Annual Ruff Riders Rally
Who: Save-a-Pet Animal Rescue and Adoption CenterMotorcycle riders and dog lovers
What: Save-A-Pet Animal Rescue and Adoption Center will join motorcycle riders and fellow dog lovers at the 6th Annual Save-a-Pet Ruff Riders Rally. This event raises money for the care of rescued animals. The motorcycle rally starts at Brookhaven Amphitheater at Bald Hill in Farmingville and tours through Suffolk County towards the East End of Long Island, where it will end at Baiting Hollow Farm Vineyard Horse Rescue.
When: Sunday, July 31
(Please note: This is a rain-or-shine event.)
· 9:30 a.m. — Registration starts.
· 11:00 a.m. — Kickstands go up.
Where: Start: Brookhaven Amphitheater at Bald Hill
Farmingville, NY
End: Baiting Hollow Farm Vineyard Horse Rescue
2114 Sound Avenue in Baiting Hollow.
Directions: To Brookhaven Amphitheater: (Long Island Expressway eastbound) to Exit 63 (N Ocean Ave/Mount Sinai/Patchogue). Merge onto Expy Drive S. Turn left onto N Ocean Ave. Continue to follow N Ocean Ave. Take the ramp to S Bicycle Path. Turn left onto S Bicycle Path.
To Baiting Hollow Farm Vineyard Horse Rescue: Return to CR 83 and head north toward Middle Country Road (Rte. 25). Make a right on Middle Country Rd. Go 16.7 miles then turn left onto Edwards Avenue. After 2.2 miles, turn right onto Sound Avenue. Baiting Hollow Farm Vineyards will be on the left-hand side.

Save-A-Pet Animal Rescue Inc. was established in 1994 and is located in Port Jefferson Station. Save-A-Pet works with The Town of Brookhaven Animal Shelter, to place homeless animals into new homes with loving families. All of the animals that come to Save-A-Pet are spayed, neutered, tested for diseases and vaccinated. Prospective adopters are thoroughly screened and matched with the most suitable pet for them and their family. Save-A-Pet Animal Rescue is a non-profit, no-kill shelter and is a safe haven for all of the animals that enter it.
