Smarter Agent Names Philip Charles-Pierre Senior Vice President, Marketing & Distribution

Travelocity Veteran’s Private Label Experience to Contribute to Expansion of Mobile Platform

CAMDEN, NJ – Smarter Agent, a mobile pioneer, today announced that Philip Charles-Pierre will join the company in a newly created position, Senior Vice President, Marketing & Distribution. An experienced leader in private label partnerships, Charles-Pierre brings more than 12 years marketing and distribution experience to Smarter Agent as the company grows its mobile platform, which currently has more than 2.5 million downloads and is growing 20 percent month over month.

Charles-Pierre’s digital marketing and distribution expertise stems from work with a variety of large companies. At Travelocity, Charles-Pierre built, managed and successfully grew a more than billion dollar private label distribution business, which included clients like American Express, AOL, Yahoo and AARP. Before joining Smarter Agent, Philip was vice president, online marketing at Direct Brands, where he managed members’ e-commerce websites, e-mail campaigns and social media acquisition programs. Charles-Pierre has also held senior positions with Starwood Hotels and Resorts and Guidepost Publishing.
