For the second time in a row, the rather young Boutique Dive Resort received one of the prestigious “Oscars of the travel industries”.

For the 26th time since its establishment in 1993, the World Travel Awards covers the globe with its Grand Tour – a series of regional gala ceremonies to recognise excellence across all sectors of the travel, tourism and hospitality industry. Last Saturday night, the tour stopped in Phu Quoc in Vietnam to announce and honour the award winners of Asia and Oceania. The gala ceremony is regarded as a milestone event in the industry calendar, attended by the industry’s key decision makers and figure heads, as well as key trade and consumer media.
