Keynote Speaker Joe Roberts Inspires Audience at the Verico Business Summit
Las Vegas, NV – Inspirational speaker and keynote speaker Joe Roberts motivated and encouraged business leaders of the Verico Business Summit last week with his motivating “Skid Row CEO” presentation.The event took place at the Venitian Hotel, Las Vegas Nevada, on June 21 – 23rd, 2011. Roberts’ presentation “Skid Row to CEO” highlighted his unique “rags to riches” personal life story, which inspired his audience to overcome adversity and use their talents and knowledge to become leaders in their fields.
“We are bigger than the adversity we face.” said Joe Roberts in his presentation. “There is no challenge too big, no person too small.”
His message proved to the audience that regardless of what type of adversity one faces, everyone has the ability to overcome it, and everyone can use their situation to make a positive impact in the world.
During his keynote speech Roberts highlighted many key moments in his personal life from his extensive childhood drug addiction to his successful comeback as President and CEO of Mindware Design Communications and Mindware Internet Solutions. Although his addiction started at age nine, Roberts overcame his adversity, realized his potential and successfully completed two business degrees from Loyalist College in Belleville, Ontario.
