June 27, 2011: Pete Welsh, Vice President of Polymedco, and his wife Shirley Welsh, have donated $8,000 to the Naples Children and Education Foundation.

Pete Welsh, Vice President of Polymedco, and his wife Shirley Welsh, reside in Naples, FL, and have a strong bond with the local community.

Welsh said about the donation “It is truly an honor for me to donate this small gift to the Naples Children and Education Foundation. The work they do for the children of the community of Naples is wonderful. My wife Shirley and I are honored to be associated with an organization that provides such assistance and benefit to the local community.”

About the Naples Children and Education Foundation (NCEF):
Now entering its eleventh year, The Naples Children & Education Foundation (NCEF) is the largest philanthropic organization in Collier County, Florida. Since 2001, the NCEF has raised over $82M to create and expand charitable programs serving underprivileged and at-risk children in the Naples area. As a direct result of the investments of the NCEF, over 100,000 children have had their lives improved. The Foundation is governed by a nine-person board, representing the 72 trustees, and currently supports 23 grantees. Its annual operating budget is $2.5M, and employs four staff in addition to the executive director. Pending the IRS results of a five-year review, the NCEF will transition from a private foundation to a public charity mid 2011.
