Polymedco Attends American Cancer Society Relay for Life Event
July 7, 2011: Polymedco is pleased to announce that a donation has been made from Polymedco and its two principals, Pete Welsh and Drew Cervasio, of $2150, to the American Cancer Society’s Relay for Life event that took place on June 25th and 26th in Middle Village, NY. This is in addition to funds that were donated by individual Polymedco employees. Proceeds from the event will go to the American Cancer Society. The American Cancer Society saves lives and creates more birthdays by helping people stay well and get well, by finding cures, and by fighting back against cancer.Polymedco employee, Maryann Andriach, was the top fundraiser for this event raising over $5600. In addition, her team was the top fundraising team raising over $22,000. Andriach says “I am thrilled that my coworkers came together and donated such a large sum of money, and that Polymedco was able to match the donation.”
Polymedco President Drew Cervasio states “We are pleased that we were able to donate to an organization that helps to save lives, as the American Cancer Society does. Maryann has been fundraising for years and we are always glad to assist in her efforts.
