J.A. Carlton’s “Broken” Breaks Taboos To Prove Killers Are Made Not Born

Uneak Press, Inc.’s first release; “Broken”, a psychological thriller by screenwriter/novelist J.A. Carlton, may be an intensely graphic depiction of how a serial killer can be created, but once again, Carlton proves her point.

“Broken”, a psychological thriller from screenwriter/novelist J.A. Carlton, and Uneak Press, Inc.’s first release, is the story of not just a serial killer’s final mission, but how he was created in the first place. All of which is relayed in horrifyingly graphic and disturbing prose whether it takes place in ‘current’ time or in flashback. The reader is given privileged information into the mental processes of a mission based serial killer as he works his way closer to his true objective.

The question though is; to what end? Why does Carlton think such a graphic depiction of such heinous crimes (on all counts) is necessary?

With that sentiment in mind Carlton has had Uneak Press, Inc. ear-mark 1/3 of her personal net royalties from all book sales (e-book and hard copy) for distribution to various local entities that provide relief, escape and counseling to victims of Child abuse.
