Maximizing sales and optimizing each MACRO store assortments with Socrate+ ERP

MACRO, the stores network launched by Mercadia Holland after renaming and repositioning MiniMax Discount stores, selected Socrate+ ERP solution to manage all activity of the new stores, from the requisition, suppliers orders, taking delivery, stock and warehouse management, sale, financial control to accounting and BI analysis. To streamline the entire activity of the company, Socrate + ERP is integrated with the warehouses joint management IT solution, currently used within stores Mic.RO.
After bought the Minimax stores network in August 2010, Mercadia Holland began earlier this year the process of repositioning and transformation in MACRO stores. In those new shops will sell mostly Romanian products. The first MACRO store was opened in this May, in Brasov, the plan being to move all 53 Minimax units to the new brand until October. The stores have an average sale size of 1,000 square meters and are located in largest cities, but also in those with at least 10,000 inhabitants.
By the end of 2011, Socrate+ ERP will operate all 150 MACRO stores open or under opening, BITSoftware providing both the software infrastructure and maintenance and technical support for opening and operating the new shops.
