Technical Foam Services Manufactures Cancer Prevention Foam

A far cheaper and more patient-friendly method has been developed by the UK Medical Research Council, which involves the use of a reticulated foam sponge encapsulated within a pill. Once the pill is swallowed, it dissolves and after a few seconds to allow the reticulated foam sponge to expand, it is brought up through the patient's throat collecting cells en-route. Technical Foam Services' involvement has included the identification and development of a suitable reticulated foam, which is then processed within their Corby factory to a precise shape; after which each sponge is cleaned to a recognised medical standard.
