Press release from: Technical Foam Services Ltd

/ PR Agency: Technical Foam Services Ltd
Northamptonshire, United Kingdom (JULY 29, 2010) – Technical Foam Services, Europe’s leading, engineering-biased foam suppliers and manufacturers, announce that a new type of PVA sponge foam is set to launch and will be available soon.

Standard PVA foams have an open cell structure which allows moisture to move from cell to cell, ensuring a high level of absorbency. This new, softer version of PVA (Polyvinyl Alcohol) sponge foam was originally developed to be used in eye surgery and so had to be very soft to the touch, but also as absorbent as possible. Technical Foam Services have announced that not only was this successfully achieved, but this new version will also have a heat-applied, colour-fast transfer and the softness will mean that bath time for babies will be better than ever.

The baby sponge product is set to come in two different choices of colour, both branded and own label, and the first product launch will come with cartoon animal prints which will not only make them an attractive addition to the bathroom, but means that the baby will enjoy them too.

“This new softer PVA sponge foam is an extremely exciting development,” commented Duncan Geddes of Technical Foam Services. “They will not only be softer and more delicate on the skin, but are ideal for other uses due to their high absorbency and durability, which sees them lasting up to six times longer than other, non-PVA types of sponge products. They are fantastic for bath use, as well as for car cleaning, household cleaning and even beauty product removal, which means that they will be a welcome addition to any home.”
