Exotissimo Encourages Visitors to Explore Luang Prabang

From its glittering temples, mystical nature and nearby verdant fauna, Luang Prabang is a town worthy of its UNESCO Heritage. Exotissimo has curated a luxury tour worthy of its royal and spirited nature.

The cultural journey starts with an introduction to the country’s ancient traditions that have existed even before the arrival of Buddhism. The baci ceremony, an Animist custom, will introduce guests to the practices, norms and cultures of the Lao people. Traditional performances at the Royal Ballet Theater and dinner at one of Luang Prabang’s top restaurants, L'Elephant concludes the first day.

Next, guests will explore the numerous glittering and well-preserved temples that characterize the country’s spiritual capital. Hidden parts and narrow alleyways of the town will be explored by electric bike. After that, guests can choose to visit a textile weaving workshop or visit one of Laos’ more impressive waterfall, Kuang Si. Then it’s off to explore the scenes and color of life around the river via a Nava Mekong riverboat cruise, with a gourmet Lao dinner served onboard.

The morning alms walk is a unique site. The Luang Prabang early morning scenery glows with orange as lines of monks embark on their rituals. For early risers, this is an opportunity they should not miss.
