myCommenter.com - Comment on every website

Hamburg, 19 August 2019. The Internet agency JED Media from Hamburg has recently published a new app for the web community available at www.myCommenter.com. The user has the opportunity to comment on any website. For this he can either choose between a pure cross-platform browser solution in the form of a web app, or a browser plug-in. The plugin is currently available for the browsers Google Chrome, Mozilla Firefox and Opera.

The use of the service is completely free and will be realized for the time being without commercials. Commenting is provided through the discussion platform Disqus, which is one of the leading in the field. In the web app, the user can comment on the desired page by entering an Internet address. In the browser plugin, the comment function can be activated at any time with a mouse click.

The primary objective is to establish a platform for freedom of expression on news portals, without relying on the editorial activation of a commentary function. Furthermore, Product pages can be commented directly without fear of censorship by the manufacturer. Additionally, the app offers the possibility to comment on any publicly accessible social media profiles. Also conceivable are possible statements on reports of state institutions or draft laws.

One basis for the idea was the increasing burgeoning debate over so-called "fake news" in recent years. Publicly perceived tendencies of distrust of the media reinforced the desire for a more independent solution to achieve a distortion-free representation of opinions.
