Historical Thriller Tops The History Channel’s Take On America’s Story

NEW ORLEANS, La – Mike Church’s newest film, “Road to Independence: The Movie,” continues to fly up the charts.

While the film debuted at #7 on Amazon.com in the Movie/Documentary/History category, it has now topped the History Channel’s “America: The Story of Us” in both the Documentary/History category as well as overall rank at Amazon and is also officially one of the top rated documentaries of all-time on the website. Currently at #54 in OVERALL Amazon sellers (documentary), "Road To Independence - The Movie" has been in the top 100 for all of its 34 day release. This is a list crowded up by Oscar-winners such as "Inconvenient Truth," "Capitalism - A Love Story" and others.

Further, while nationally-syndicated movie reviewer Debbie Schlussel has already given “Road to Independence: The Movie” her most coveted prize: 4 Reagans, the accolades keep coming. While the blogosphere has been alight with praise that any major studio would kill for, prominent bloggers continue to file their reviews about “Road To Independence,” and they’ve been consistently positive.

Now, Bradley J.
