Press release from: Dramm Corporation

Santa Maria, CA- DRAMMwater with our vendor Advanced Treatment Technologies designed and supplied a complete closed loop water management system for this 64 acre vegetable production greenhouse that will expand to 128 acres.

The water management system supplies ultra-pure, highly oxygenated water to the greenhouse and landscape irrigation systems; to the utility and processing applications; and to the potable water supply for the entire facility.

The DRAMMwater system includes the treatment and recycling of 100% of the irrigation water from the crops and 100% of the condensation water from inside the roof of the greenhouses, and even the filtration back-flush water. The system includes Water Storage, Fine Filtration, Carbon Filtration, Reverse Osmosis, High Efficiency Pumping System, Ozone Disinfection, a unique water storage treatment system that significantly raises the DO (dissolved oxygen) levels to the crop and even a water storage cooling system to assure that the crops receive the highest possible water quality for maximum plant health and performance and maximum food safety.

DRAMMwater Manager Al Zylstra has marshalled the project through since the beginning and says it will be the most sophisticated greenhouse facility and greenhouse water treatment system in North America when completed.
