Live Nude Improv - As Love From Lies, Or Truth From Art
Using games, scenes and radical storytelling techniques, eight of Austin's most accomplished improvisers will create a never-before-seen-and-never-to-be-seen-again play. Each night is a different audience-suggested title, guaranteeing a completely different show each week -- expect playfulness, vulnerability, inspiration and the infinite possibility of improvisation. And because this is modern American drama at its most thrilling and unpredictable, expect to see a little more skin than you might at a run-of-the-mill improv show.
The Hideout Theatre will be blurring the distinction between comedy and art, between audience and performer, between wearing clothes and not wearing clothes.

The HIDEOUT THEATRE is Austin's premiere improv venue, offering shows, classes and corporate training downtown since 1999. It is the epicenter of the ongoing Austin improv explosion.
The Hideout Theatre was founded in 1999 and is one of Austin's premiere venues for improvisational theatre. The Hideout offers shows, classes and corporate training.
Featuring successful productions like Ka-Baam! (improvised comic book adventures), Improvised Shakespeare, Improvised Dickens, Improvised 60's Batman and Improvised Hitchcock the Hideout has build a reputation for high-quality shows.
The venue features dozens of improv troupes from all over town in their shows from Thursday to Sunday, most notably Maestro, a competitive short-form elimination format reminiscent of "Who's line is it anyway".
