Press release from: Trucks Direct UK Ltd

/ PR Agency: Trucks Direct UK Ltd
Birmingham, United Kingdom (April XX 2011) – Trucks Direct UK Ltd, one of the UK's largest suppliers of quality used forklift trucks for sale and hire, have taken new measures to reduce the effect that their services have on the environment.

Trucks Direct UK Ltd have made concerted efforts in the way in which their transport division functions, but also with the help of customers are endeavouring to send full loads of trucks out instead of sending one truck per load.

This new initiative is already greatly reducing transport costs for the company, whilst also helping with maintaining as low a carbon footprint as possible. It is also hoped by the company that they will be able to pass these cost-saving benefits onto their customers in the future.

“At Trucks Direct, we prioritise keeping our carbon footprint as low as possible to reduce the impact that our services have on the wider environment. Now with over 30 trucks a week sold and shipped in our newly-adapted, more economical way, this is a significant amount of footprint we are saving,” commented a spokesperson for Trucks Direct UK Ltd. “This initiative is backed by the management and will be closely monitored on a daily and weekly basis so that we can make the most of these benefits, as much as possible and promote more consistency for employees and customers alike.”
