airberlin: German premiere of the Boeing 787 Dreamliner

To celebrate the German premiere of the Boeing 787 Dreamliner, airberlin will be hosting an official ceremony at Berlin-Tegel Airport on Saturday June 25th, 2011 together with the aircraft's manufacturer Boeing and Berlin Airports. Guests from the worlds of politics, business and the media are invited to this event. Following the ceremony, airberlin employees will also be able to see this long-haul aircraft for themselves.

The Boeing test airplane is referred to as ZA001 and is the first 787 built. It is expected to arrive at Berlin-Tegel Airport at 9:00 a.m. on Saturday. The visitor viewing area in the airport building will be open to the public and is sure to provide an excellent view of the new Dreamliner.

airberlin will be the first customer in Germany to receive a Boeing 787 Dreamliner.
