New music conference in Mombasa, Kenia
In cooperation with M5 Entertainment Ltd. 7star music & media organizes the international music fair MUSIC MOVES, which takes place from 22.-25. January 2020 in Mombasa-Kenya. Venue is the Pride Inn Paradise Beach Resort, which also serves as a conference hotel.
MUSIC MOVES is a conference for the international entertainment business and differs according to organizer Peer Jalowietzki from other music fairs as follows:
"MUSIC MOVES" is the new international conference for the digital age. The show's main emphasis is on emerging markets and music business in the digital age. We focus on new forms of marketing and types as well as the markets of the future, such as the African and Indian markets. "
In contrast to other fairs MUSIC MOVES will not give "frontal lessons" through panels, but only "round-table-meetings", where either the participants can exchange and discuss a given topic or companies can present their new services directly to the participants and then answer any questions during a Q & A session.
The number of participants at the "round table meetings" will be limited to about 20 people each. Registration is online via the Music Moves website.
As part of the MUSIC MOVES there will also be an international songwriting camp, for which interested labels and producers can submit their songleads.
Finally, the organizers emphasize that MUSIC MOVES is also significantly less expensive than other fairs, which applies to the fair tickets as well as hotel prices and other local costs.
"Prices like € 10.00 for a beer or € 12.50 for a cappuccino will not be there. The price structure in Kenya really suits us. "
Tickets for MUSIC MOVES will be available for purchase from January 26, 2019, midnight. For a period of one week (until 04.07.2019), the organizers have set up a "Super Early Bird Tarif" which amounts to € 199,00 for the trade fair ticket.
