b.TWEEN 3D, Supported by SONY, transforms the conference model

THOUGHT LEADERS from film, media, performance, fashion and technology will gather at London’s iconic BFI on 21st July to debate the future of 3D. They will be joined live and interactively by thousands more through nodes across Europe, USA and Asia.

This is the first time leading figures in 3D across industries will speak in an interactive forum on the future of the industry. The ‘co-creation’ model of this conference provides a unique opportunity to challenge and participate with those pushing the frontiers of 3D technology.

The entire event is supported by Sony, the world’s leading 3D entertainment and technology provider.

“Sony has been involved with the development of 3D since its beginning, and we’re delighted that it’s now so front of mind across the world. B.TWEEN3D will showcase some frankly unbelievable technology; angels that fall from the screen and stand beside you, machines that replicate their own parts, clothes custom-made to your exact body shape and size, lenses that allow you to see layers over reality. We’re proud to be at the forefront of this revolution and are excited about the opportunity to share our thinking and learn from such brilliant minds.” Ed Donald, General Manager, Brand Initiatives, Content & Synergies, Sony Europe.

Industry leading speakers include Martyn Ware (Heaven 17), Wayne Hemingway (Hemingway Design) and Otis Deley (The Gadget Show).

The project has already started online, with interviews by BBC’s Kate Russell with leading lights in the industry sharing visions of the future.

The conference will be inviting questions of how we can collaborate to create a more exciting future.

Be part of a world changing conversation with industry thought leaders and pioneers on 21st July from wherever you are.
