Online Q&A Tool, QQ4U, Unveils Public Question Functionality
QQ4U (which stands for “Quick Question For You”) has recently updated its question and answer platform, allowing users to ask questions to any online audience by posting a link in any location that supports a URL or embedding a widget onto a website.“QQ4U’s new functionality allows members to broadcast their question anywhere on the web,” says John Bialous, COO of Miles Technologies, developers of QQ4U. “Members can now take the link to any question they ask and post it to a social media profile like Facebook. The ability for non-members to view and answer public questions without having to sign up is what sets QQ4U apart from other question and answer services.”
QQ4U’s widget functionality enables members to embed questions into any HTML-based website. Questions can be answered by any web user directly on the website containing the widget without a need to visit the QQ4U website or create an account.

Government Continuity Plans In Question
E-services, and in government terms, E-government, are essentially digital technologies, notably the internet and mobile, that help facilitate interactions between government agencies and the public. Examples of government e-services, amongst many others, include business formation, registration and reporting; payment of licenses and taxes; and application for social security benefits.
Government digital projects are commonly complex to plan and execute and many of them are destined to fail. According to research,…
With Hunting Season Upon Us, It Begs to Question...
When is it considered too young to hunt alone?
Like all other controversial topics, you will have people that have strong opinions on both sides of the issue. One thing to think about is that times have changed and parents/society are much more protective than they were in the past (you’ve heard of helicopter parenting, right?) In the “good old days,” it was nothing for young Jimmy to go out and…
BioASQ Challenges on Biomedical Information Retrieval and Question Answering
Every day, approximately 3000 new articles are published in biomedical journals. That averages to more than 2 articles every minute. Managing this large amount of data is a challenge in itself. Yet, ensuring that this wealth of knowledge is used for the sake of the patients in a timely manner is an even more demanding task for both computer scientists and biomedical experts.
The BioASQ project, which started on October 1st…

The Chartered Institute of Housing has found there will be thousands more claimants than properties that are affordable on benefits alone, meaning a further 800,000 homes will be put out of reach of people on housing benefit because of government welfare cuts – leaving low income families the choice of cutting spending on food to pay the rent or moving out.
This has led to increased fears of the creation of…

Tattoos: A Question of Art
For an ever increasing percentage of people across the globe a new online library poses a serious question. When considering a 5,000 year old art form, the compilation of popularized drawings would seem to be nothing extraordinary. Every book store and café from Ivy League schools to sea side tourist-traps sell photographs of famous painters, sculptors and modern pop-artists’ works. And from glossy coffee table books to iPhone cases –…
