New British Accent Training Package Now Released

A new British Accent training package called The Ultimate RP British Accent Learning Resource has been released today.

Bristol, UK, May 12, 2011 -- British Accents students can now download the new Ultimate RP British Accent Learning resource from today. For a limited time, the package also includes the Sounds In The British Accent Presentation and the 10mp3 extra Vocab practice audio files. The package is available for download at £29.99.

The Ultimate RP British Accent contains over 15 hours of audio and video training material. Modules cover a wide range of topics and is aimed at people looking to develop their RP accent for work (including Actors preparing for a role) and Students preparing to sit spoken English exams. British Accent training is also often sought by employees of BPO companies. These employees are regularly required to converse with International clients and feel that a British accent can help aid their conversational skills.

As many British accent learners’ use the telephone in their day to day working and personal life, included within the new training package is a module covering commonly used telephone vocabulary and phrases. There is also a collection of 40 Role-play conversations covering a variety of scenarios, from booking a hotel room to talking about the weather. Modules also include a collection of 100 English Phrases and Sayings with their pronunciation and meanings and there is also a section covering common industry vocab found in the HR, Sales, Marketing, IT and advertising sectors.

A short video has also been created to show viewers close up footage of a mouth making the different sounds found in the British Accent. By watching and copying the shape that the mouth, lips and tongue make when forming each sound, should help learners visualise and imitate the RP accent sounds.

Other sections cover commonly mispronounced words, the Top 500 most commonly used English words, the Top 300 Verbs and a module on how Connected Speech influences the way native speakers pronounce certain words in natural conversation.
