American Megatrends Receives 2010 Community Participation Award of Excellence from Intel® Corporation

The award was given to AMI for the most viewed post in 2010 on the Intel® Embedded Community website, titled “Ask a BIOS Guy: Why UEFI”, with 8,507 views.Since early 2010, AMI has hosted the “Ask a BIOS Guy” blog, which is authored by Brian Richardson, Senior Technical Marketing Engineer at AMI, to discuss issues related to BIOS and UEFI firmware, with a focus on the future of these technologies and what they mean to developers and consumers of embedded and ultramobile devices.
