Kaindl Masterfloor: Best in Test at Selbst ist der Mann magazine

In cooperation with the independent testing agency LGA / TÜV Rheinland, the German DIY magazine Selbst ist der Mann tested eight laminate floors for their practicability in its April edition. Kaindl Masterfloor 7.0 was Best in Test.

With an overall mark of 1.8 and several straight A’s in the technical tests, Kaindl Masterfloor was able to assert itself over seven competing products. In its conclusion, the magazine rated the test winner as a “solid, very affordable floor that can be fitted easily and achieved the highest score by far in the technical test.” In the individual categories “impingement resistance”, “thickness swell”, “micro-scratching”, “stain resistance”, “sliding friction” and “formaldehyde emission”, the Kaindl Masterfloor laminate boards received the top mark “Excellent”.

The assembly instructions and easy fitting of the Kaindl floor, which is available at Hornbach stores, also contributed to the high rating and Best in Test result. “We are very happy that we were able to prove our high quality standards in an independent practicability test, too,” Kaindl Managing Director Doris Buchmesser sees her product philosophy confirmed by the test results. “Confirmed once again,” as she emphasizes: only last year, a flooring product by the Salzburg company was selected as the “Best Product of the year 2010” by Heimwerker Praxis magazine.
