Chipkin Product Announcement - New Protocol Gateways Available for the Honeywell HUS CCTV System
Vancouver, BC, Canada - April 25, 2019 - Chipkin has developed a custom driver for theHoneywell HUS CCTV System. This ethernet driver allows a Honeywell HUS CCTV System to
be driven to camera presets based on data sent from an external system. This will allow for the
automatic operation of a CCTV and Surveillance system by providing an interface which allows
the DCS Control System to perform automatic actions on the HUS. By linking this driver to other
gateway drivers, the HUS system can be driven by Modbus, BACnet, Rockwell, GE, Omron, JCI
and many other automation systems. The Driver supports up to 500 cameras and can be
configured in 2 styles.
The Honeywell HUS CCTV protocol can be coupled with any of the other protocols in the
FieldServer library to make gateway firmware. Here are a few examples of gateways we’ve
already developed:
