Macro Sensors Broadens Line of Economical, User-Friendly LVDT Signal Conditioners with 4-20mA Output Model

Press release from: Macro Sensors

Macro Sensors (macrosensors.com) broadens its EAZY-CAL™ MMX Series of Mini-Module LVDT Signal Conditioners with a 4-20mA output model that supports process control and factory automation applications often requiring longer cable runs. This user-friendly, single channel signal conditioner is also available with a low noise 0-10V DC output.

To reduce noise and to eliminate voltage drops in analog voltage signals, the market place has adopted an analog current (4-20mA) output as its standard. A 4-20mA current output allows the user to run longer cables from the sensor to the control system without the worry of noise being induced on the signal or having to calibrate out the voltage drop due to the impedance of the cabling.

EAZY-CAL Mini-Module LVDT Signal Conditioners (http://www.macrosensors.com/MMX_series.html) are quickly calibrated in mere seconds using two front panel push buttons. The elimination of repetitive null and span potentiometer adjustments associated with conventional analog based signal conditioners enables a faster and easier set up. An intuitive, sequencing four LED status indicator guides an operator through the calibration process, and provides foolproof feedback to insure calibration integrity.

In addition to a simplistic calibration, the EAZY-CAL Mini-Module LVDT Signal Conditioners measure just 2.77” x 3.35” x 0.7”, taking up less space than standard size, din rail signal conditioners. Compact and lightweight, modules are ideal for installation in locations with limited space.

The EAZY-CAL MMX Series of Mini-Module LVDT Signal Conditioners are also economically priced for the OEM market. Modules support most manufacturers’ LVDT position sensors with plug and play compatibility and can be remotely located by up to 100+ feet to facilitate LVDT operation in extreme environments.

For multiple channel applications, up to 10 EAZYCAL ™ MMX Series modules can be connected together in master/slave mode to synchronize their excitation oscillator frequency, eliminating effects of heterodyning and spurious beat frequency signals, cross talk, and intermodulation effects.

Their contactless, frictionless design and long operational life make them ideal for demanding environments. With increased adoption in automation, robotics, aerospace control systems, and energy sectors, the LVDT sensors market is poised for a strong decade of
Global Linear Variable Displacement Transducers (LVDT) Market 2025-2032
Linear Variable Displacement Transducers (LVDT) Market Overview Linear Variable Differential Transformers (LVDT) are non-contact, absolute position sensors. They include a transformer housed into a metal case and a ferromagnetic core which can be attached to an extension rod. The core slides inside the spool tube (also called boreliner) of the transformer. The transformer contains the coil assembly with primary and secondary windings and, in the case of DC LVDTs, the signal
Latest Trends In Global LVDT Displacement Sensors Market
A Linear Variable Differential Transformer (LVDT) displacement sensor is a highly precise and reliable device used for measuring linear displacement or position changes. It operates on the principle of electromagnetic induction and consists of a primary coil, a secondary coil, and a movable core. When an alternating current is applied to the primary coil, it generates a magnetic field, which induces voltages in the secondary coils.
