Transformations Welcomes Adam Armstrong as Director of Sales and Marketing
Industry expertise and a proven track record in creating efficient workflowsBrentwood, Tennessee, April 13, 2011 -- Transformations Inc., a recognized leader in process improvement software for manufacturing sites and distribution centers across the United States, has appointed Adam Armstrong as Director of Sales and Marketing.
Armstrong brings extensive experience with transactional documents, production printing environments, workflow and data integrity and is a popular speaker at industry events, major tradeshows and print industry learning seminars. A native of Melbourne, Australia, he attended the prestigious Victoria University of Technology before emigrating to the United States. Armstrong held a variety of positions with Xerox, culminating as Color and Monochrome Solutions Executive in the San Diego area. From 2005 to 2010, he was Senior Workflow Specialist with Solimar Systems, Inc., a leading developer of enterprise output management and automated workflow solutions for production data and print centers worldwide. A focused problem solver and strong communicator, Armstrong was widely recognized among his customers and industry peers for his technical knowledge and expertise in the development and implementation of complex, high-volume print and mail operations.
At Transformations, Armstrong’s primary responsibility will be working with customers to implement effective and efficient print and mail workflows using Uluro, Transformation’s flagship product, which is experiencing rapid growth nationwide. Uluro is an all-encompassing data management, tracking, composition and multi-channel delivery solution for companies challenged by the complexities of high-volume production and distribution of bills, invoices and other customer communications. Uluro enables companies to streamline and reduce the costs of complex print and mail processes, enables recipients to choose how they receive their correspondence, and helps deliver highly personalized mail across physical and electronic media.
“I am thrilled to have Adam on our team,” said Ryan Semanchik, Transformations president. “Adam’s intimate knowledge of software architecture, workflow design and ADF processes, and overall comprehension of the complex world of document production is truly second to none. Adam immediately adds years of industry experience to our Transformations team.”
Looking forward to his new role Armstrong said, “I see myself as a problem solver; someone who enjoys building workflows that help customers improve the way they do business. What I’ve seen throughout my career is how most available technologies are silo systems that require high levels of integration and programming. Unfortunately, this doesn’t address the requirements of increasingly lean print and mail operations seeking optimum production efficiencies. Uluro is an incredibly powerful tool that simplifies the entire workflow with a true end-to-end solution from production to delivery to payment receipt. I’m looking forward to helping bring it to market and to helping service providers transform their businesses.”
“Adam is a perfect fit for Transformations Inc.,” said Bill Tidwell, Managing Partner of Transformations Inc. “His expertise coupled with his outstanding reputation and infectious passion for what he does will provide us a valuable resource to better service our existing clients, and further develop and grow the Uluro brand.”
Armstrong lives with his wife, Kriss Kiks, and their daughter, Kylie.
