CYBEX SOLUTION COLLECTION 2007 – the family keeps growing

The product series of the successful child safety seat CYBEX SOLUTION keeps growing in 2007: with numerous new designs, CYBEX combines timeless looks and modern color trends in a product family with unique safety. With its appearance in 2005, the CYBEX SOLUTION set new standards with regard to safety, design and functionality. Amongst other titles, the CYBEX SOLUTION came out winner in a test by the German car magazine „AUTO Bild“, achieved best results in the ADAC / ÖAMTC crash test and in tests by „Stiftung Warentest“ and further it was honored with the first-time presented Innovation Award at the „Kind & Jugend“ fair in Cologne in 2005 for the most innovative child safety seat in the branch. All in all, at the „Kind & Jugend 2006“, the CYBEX FREE, the SOLUTION S and the SOLUTION S + are presented in three new function and design versions which are now available.
The most outstanding feature of the SOLUTION is the worldwide unique active safety concept which offers children best protection in all kinds of crashes. The most important element in the safety concept of the CYBEX SOLUTION is the innovative, worldwide patented headrest. It allows the child to find a relaxing, reclined sleeping position in the car. This is the first time that the child’s head can be effectively prevented from falling forward, which could have fatal consequences in an accident. Unlike in usual systems, the sensitive head remains perfectly protected, especially in side impacts. In case of a front impact, however, in which the child’s head is flung forward, the head rest follows the movement and remains fixed in an upright position. A flipping back of the head through which the cervical vertebra is overstreched is thus effectively avoided.

Innovative functions were smartly translated into practise so that they will be simple and uncomplicated to handle. Like the patented reclining head rest which is at the same time reclinable in three positions and height adjustable in seven positions. Or the integrated height-adjustable footrest. Or the little storage that is integrated in the seat, which offers space for all kinds of things. The back rest is, of course, reclining and it can thus be perfectly adjusted to the backrest of the car seat. It also contains a breathable air circulation system.

With the follow-up CYBEX SOLUTION S, the company presented in the same year yet another element to the safety concept of the SOLUTION series: the additional width- and height-adjustable shoulder protectors of this model offer more safety in a side impact.

The collection 2007 comprises many new color designs – in all three available fabrics: sports-look, suede and mesh-tech. All new designs are now available in stores. They offer highest possible safety wrapped in creative design.

The „Kind & Jugend Innovation Award“ which is awarded at the very important „Kind & Jugend“ child and nursery fair in Cologne, the title „Vorbildlich“ (German for „examplary“) in the crash test of the German car magazine AUTOBILD and the title „Empfehlenswert“ (German for „recommendable“) with the highest ranking in the current crash test of the German car magazine AUTOZEITUNG speak for CYBEX products and their quality.
