Cabodevila Presents His First Solo Album in Rodgau on April 13

Megabien Group, France: April 3, 2019 – Singer-songwriter and guitarist Cabodevila releases his first solo album "Joker" on April 13, 2019.

The ten "Joker" tracks, written over the past years by Cabodevila himself, are the result of a very personal, musical project. The lyrics reflect how the artist is dealing in an interesting and entertaining way with his past life experiences. The result is a mix of groovy and thoughtful blues, pop, rock and soul tracks, sometimes with Latin-American rhythms mingled with melodic ballads, mostly in German, but also in English and Spanish. His energy-driven voice and his acoustic guitar are supported by drums, bass and electric guitar performed by a selection of talented French musicians. Additionally, singer-songwriter and guitarist Stasan adds on his guitar style on two of the tracks.

During his album release concert, Cabodevila is backed by German musicians with whom he has repeatedly shared the stage in the past as "Cisco", Cabodevila's previous artist name, or as front-man of pati-o-papa's, a band from the German town Rodgau, or as member of the former unplugged band Venus.

The album has been recorded in several sessions over a period of 12 months at the Megabien Studios in southern France (www.megabien.com). Joker is produced by Hans Stachowiak, a seasoned producer from Minneapolis. The photography for the album artwork is made by Monika Hurka and Bernd Wittelsbach; both have been present to document the creative process and to realize on location photo-shootings with artist and band. Cabodevila himself created the graphic design of the artwork. Joker is released on the label megabien music and will be available as CD and digital download on all mayor online stores.

Cabodevila will officially present his new album at the Maximal Kulturinitiative in Rodgau in Germany on April 13, 2019 at 8pm. Tickets are available for presale at www.maximal-rodgau.de.
