The single, “Help Me”, incorporates an upbeat Americana rhythm to an otherwise dreary subject matter – the current political climate. In a call-and-response duet style, STASAN and CABODEVILA question the truth, their news sources, and the actions of world powers through the metaphors of a weather forecast. The hook personifies the common people that cry for help in the convoluted search for truth and justice that is lost in the “game” of politics.
Consistent with his avant-garde writing style, STASAN strikes a chord in social justice music with this hard-hitting, foot-tapping critique on matters of racism, political parties and climate change.
ABOUT STASAN
STASAN, a world citizen, as he calls himself, is not the usual artist you are used to hearing about. STASAN grew up in Germany where he played his first public concert at the age of 14, followed by many concerts as the rhythm guitarist of the German rock band “The Fates” during the turbulent 60`s.
He lived outside of Germany for many years, mainly in the South of France, until a dramatic event changed his life forever, leaving all and everything behind, (re)turning to music for good. Another musical chapter that brought him to the US started. To date, he has released four albums and numerous singles.
ABOUT CABODEVILA
CABODEVILA is a German-born singer-songwriter and guitarist with Spanish roots. Cabodevila, known for being the frontman of the German rock bands pati-o-papa and Venus, has just finished his first solo album that is set for release in April.
