FireSide Gives Away $1,000 to a Deserving Georgia Charity

Marietta, Georgia, U.S.A.; on March 22nd, 2011, FireSide Natural Gas, a certified Georgia natural gas marketer, awarded UGA HEROs a donation of $1,000. During the last couple of weeks of February and the first two weeks of March, FireSide Natural Gas conducted a Facebook Charity Promotion to benefit a Georgia charity. FireSide Facebook fans nominated thirty-eight of their favorite charities for a chance to win a $1,000 donation. Beginning March 1st, fans were able to vote on their favorite charity and the benefit with the most votes by March 15th was deemed the winner.

On March 16th, 2011 FireSide proudly announces the winner of the promotion was UGA Heroes, as their charity had received the most votes. UGA HEROs is a UGA non-profit organization that raises money to support H.E.R.O. for Children, Inc. and provide Quality of Life programs for children affected by HIV/AIDS in the state of Georgia.
