Dear Mr. President,
in the above mentioned case I announce, that Father Don Demidoff, president of the League for the Renaissance of Moral Standing, RO-557105 Iacobeni, Romania, has authorized me to represent his interests against the Romanian state. In his capacity as Attorney at Law the undersigned affirms to be an authorized representative.
On the behalf of my client I inform of the following facts (A.), which I will supplement with comments on the legal situation (B.) thereafter:
A. Facts
Father Don Demidoff is a German citizen and has been living in Romania since 1991. Inter alia he there has established a home for children, who are abandoned by their parents and therefore are called "street children". Moreover, he has the explicit authorization by the Romanian ministry of justice to regularly visit the detainees of several Romanian prisons

A protocol negotiated with the administration of the prison is not respected by the new director of Codlea. He had stated to the Father that "he" did not want to be integrated into Europe.

In his capacity as a priest, however, he learned about the scandalous situation of Romanian prisoners. He reported about the unsustainable conditions in the prisons there and he demanded the responsible persons to immediately stop the torture
