Sharp’s Aquos Net+ Users Join Growing Viewster Audience

Viewster, the hit tVoD service from DIVA AG that delivers a high-quality catalogue of classic and current movies and leading TV series, is to be made available by Sharp to owners of its connected TVs, BluRay players and other devices via its Aquos Net+ platform.

The deal will initially deliver Viewster to Aquos Net+ users in 5 key European markets.

Viewster gives Sharp owners Day and Date release and free content .

Sharp’s Aquos Net+ users will benefit from Viewster’s content-driven policy of continuously adding new movie releases to its catalogue in genres including action, comedy, thrillers and TV series. Aquos Net+ users will be able to enjoy this content Day and Date on a tVoD basis via the Viewster widget. Additionally, current titles are complemented with selected, thematically related, movies and series which Aquos Net+ users of Viewster will be able to watch as free aVoD content.

Viewster brings Aquos Net+ users access to a significant and expanding library. Viewster is kept fresh and exciting for users with some 10 percent of the catalogue being refreshed each month, and each title being offered for at least 3 months.

Sharp Aquos Net+ users in expatriate communities will also be able to locate and view top quality minority content, with the best Turkish, Russian and Arabic movies and drama series on offer via the Viewster widget.

The company is a leading supplier of movies, TV series and short form contents, delivering content to video on demand platforms and connected devices globally.
