David M Schwarz Architects Selects Webarchives iDAM™

Silver Spring, MD - WebArchives, a leading provider of Digital Asset Management (DAM) for the Architecture and Real Estate industries, announced today that David M. Schwarz Architects (DMSA) has selected iDAM™ as their core digital asset management system. David M. Schwarz Architects has a wealth of historical imagery and project documents that span over 30 years of work. Their goal is to capture this information and leverage the knowledge across the firms practice.

Using our iDAMLive™ engine, DMSA automatically ingested, indexed and converted over 50,000 images and tens of thousands of documents. Normally this process would take an archivist hundreds of hours to complete. After installation of the system, iDAMLive™ ingested the directories and indexed the keyword metadata in minutes providing a searchable digital image library in less than a day.
WebArchives recently launched iDAM™ Version 6 with the new iDAMFinder™ tool, allowing users to distill hundreds of thousands of digital assets in infractions of a second using the dynamic filtered search feature. Users can search for any type of digital file throughout multiple servers and quickly filter results based on metadata, keywords or phrases.
