The route takes cyclists up legendary climbs including Mont Ventoux, on roads bordering lavender fields, and into charming villages throughout Southern France.Leaving the Luberon countryside behind, this tour is a one way trip to the French Riviera with some long stages over spectacular countryside. Bedoin, Gordes, Greoux les Bains, Saint Tropez and Cannes are among the many places to discover while cycling in Provence.

Day 1: Arrive in Avignon and transfer to Bedoin at the foot of Mont Ventoux. After an orientation, explore the village, take a walk, swim in the pool, or relax for the rides ahead.
Day 2: There are two ride options today: 1) start with a warm-up tour between the vineyards of Bedoin, followed by the challenging climb and descend of Mont Ventoux, or 2) ride through the Nesque River Canyon to the lavender plateaus and the village of Sault.
Day 3: The landscape changes while cycling in Provence today. Start cycling in the vineyards before reaching Gordes, one of the most beautiful villages of France, then cycle on small roads through the Luberon and cross small villages in the quieter part of Provence. When approaching Greoux les Bains, be sure to notice the first peaks of the Alps as they become visible in the distance.
Day 4: Ride through the rolling hills of Greoux until reaching Saint Tropez on a beautiful Mediterranean road.
Day 5: Cycling in Provence all day from Saint Tropez to Nice along the most stunning and prestigious Oceanside of the French Riviera.
Day 6: Departure day from Nice.
This 5 night tour is available anytime between April and October, but to have good access to the Ventoux summit, starting after May 1 is recommended. The self guided version is 1395 Euros per person for 3 and 4 star hotels and includes buffet breakfasts, 3 dinners, luggage transfers, road books and a GPS. The guided tour is 1785 Euros per person including everything the self guided tour offers plus a professional guide, vehicle support, all transfers and more.
